philly.yoga.photo2.jpgWe're so pleased you're joining us on Sunday, May 21! We are expecting a beautiful day, but just a reminder: the event will be held rain or shine. And please remember: the class is BYOM (bring your own mat)! The event takes place from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and the schedule is as follows:

7:30 a.m. Check In and Healthy Living Expo Open
9:30 a.m. Program and Yoga Class
11:00 a.m. Snacks and Healthy Living Expo Open

Check In & Location: The yoga class takes place at the Philadelphia Museum of Art (2600 Benjamin Franklin Parkway). Check in and walk in registration will occur across Kelly Drive from the bottom of the Art Museum steps. Please look for signs. Additional details:

  • All participants will receive an orange wristband at check in which must be worn to enter the event. If you picked up your wristband early, there is no need to wait in line unless you are turning in additional donations. However, please remember that you must wear your wristband to enter the event areas.
  • Anyone who raises $75 or more will be able to pick up their 2017 commemorative t-shirt along with any other incentives earned at the Incentive Pickup tent at the event.
  • Cash, checks and credit card donations can be turned in at Check In.
  • We are expecting record breaking numbers, so we may ask you to put your yoga mat closer together than normal. But this is a great way to make friends!

Parking: There is on-street parking available on and around Fairmount Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue as well as on Sedgley Avenue and Aquarium Drive behind the Museum (please note parking time limits). Philadelphia Museum of Art and Eakins Oval parking will also be available (please note normal parking rates will be in effect).

Public Transportation: The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) serves the Philadelphia region with subways & elevated trains, light rail, trackless trolley, buses, and commuter rail lines. SEPTA bus routes 7, 32, 38, 43, and 48 currently serve the Museum area. Please check www.septa.org for more information.
